Default 2005 Sri without chrome window trims

Is it normal that my 2005 Sri has rubber seals without the chrome trim on them at the base of the windows? Every other Sri I see seems to have them!

SRi is supposed to rep the sports side of the range, this is why you get no electric windows etc, it's a spec that reps a car meant for speed, in this day and age of course they should realise it's a road car, and putting toys in it should be allowed.

The door ones are dead easy to fit. It's the rear quarter-light ones that are somewhat trickier.

Take a look in a '53 reg SRi and then compare them. You will cry at the amount of things missing in the later versions.

I spoke to them on Monday and they were waiting for the Irmscher suspension bits. Irmscher UK didn't have them so they're coming from Germany! They can't start anything until they've got all those bits so it's holding it up at the moment.

They may have got them in yesterday or today. I'm going to ring tomorrow to see where things are. I'm expecting it to be near the end of the month before I've got it back.

Hope you get yours all sorted!
