    Default Waxoyl Would you ?????

Just wondered if anybody had waxoyled their car.I have owned my Siggy for around two and half years and have no intention of getting rid of it.Fantastic car. Many years ago i had my XJS Waxoyled and it was the best kept Jag around (no rust anywhere).Just wondered if it was worth doing the same to the siggy ?????????

    Any thoughts would be appreciated....

My opinion is,I would not bother. I used to use it on older cars. "ie" 1980,s. But we had a Vectra B. 1996 reg. I did not waxoyl that, and with the new materials and underbody corrosion protection they now use, when we sold the car in March this year, there was No rust on it. Mind you it is up to you. But I for one will not bother with Waxoyl again.
Edit. Aslo be carefull than it will not invalidate the VX warenty.
I don,t know what VX use a their corrision prothection. But waxoyl might even Remove it??? or have an adverse affect on it,s performance.
Maybe have a word with a VX dealer to see if they say it is ok to use.

As long as it's properly cleaned before you put it on then no reason you couldn't

I used waxoil to rust proof a hole I needed to make in an area the had been treated with Vxl wax spray....it seemed to react with the Vxl stuff..kind of dissolved it into a runny goo.

I've not bothered to spray inside the box sections etc with it...althought I have used waxoil on my old 1962 PA Cresta box sections....

    Cheers
