Hi all can someone point me in the right direction of the above, i have been looking but im unsure as to which i need, on most of the diesel 1's it states 2004 eobd but cant seem to find one that will work on my model.
Does anyone own the same car with a code reader that actually works?

I have heard of op-com, however is it possible to use it with a desktop pc as i dont have a laptop, i was thinking of getting a usb extension cable and op-com is this a viable solution, car is approx 10-15ft away from pc.

I'd make sure you use one single usb extension cable.
I tried using more than one when the laptop was playing up.
Worked ok with one, but played up with more than one!

Are you sure it was tech2? As tech2 is the snap on tool the dealers use. (Its not PC based)??? And works with every single vectra c

But at £3000 not a lot of people other than dealers have em!
