    Default DA and product

OK so it looks like the car I am going to buy will have been a rental or "demo" as some may describe it, but no matter it has the linear scuffs of very frequent roller car washing.

I have access to a high quality DA but it has been many years since I embarked upon detailling a car with a machine.

Can anyone recommend a light cutting compound as I think Farecla No.5 will be a bit too strong for my out of touch hands and I do NOT want to go too heavy.

Ideally I am seeking a very light cleaner wax type compound and may even go as far as using a domestic product before going on to a harsher easier to muck up one?

    Thanks guys

Hi derek one you can try which i use on a regular basis is Mequiars swirl x can be used either by hand or with a d a , and i also use mequiars cleaner wax for removal of paint oxidation marks , but there is quiet a few products available now a days, but both of these should be available at most autofactors or halfords

Awesome thanks, I was wondering about the cleaner wax route as I have a little Zymol left over from my last detailing sessions, may experiment with that and buy some of the Meg's
