Eek Ruined my paint at the jetwash

Because I am a bit of an amateur when it comes to detailing I washed the Signum at a jet wash in my local Tesco. Yes and I used the lance with a broom on the end of it

Anyway, when I got home and the paint was dry it looked as if someone had cleaned it with a brillo pad. The whole car was a mess of fine scratches and I seriously felt sick. Before doing that it was nearly mint.

Anyway, straight to Halfords and they were quite helpful. My car is dark metalic blue and they sold me Tcut color fast with blue colouring in it. I spent about 3 hours rubbing the paintwork with this stuff and it looks almost as good as new. Phew... After that I waxed it with Collinite 915 and it looks great again. Have I damaged the paint by all this rubbing with the Tcut?

Anyway, lesson learned the hard way. I have learned a lot from this forum and thanks to you guys I discovered Collinite which is easily the best wax I have used. Please nobody use these jet wash brushes like I did...

NEVER use a brush at a jet wash mate, i go to the jet wash before i wash my car by hand to get the arches and sills etc all blasted out then home and full on clean..

problem with the tcut colour fast stuff is its just a filler for the scratches etc it will come back..although not so quick with you hitting it with the collonite.good detail is whats needed to resolve it for good

Yeah good plan but I doubt I will be using one again.

Dose - I didnt realise I was just filling the scratches with the Tcut, I thought I was grinding the top layer of laquer off and it would be a permanent fix. What should I have done?

I Had this the other day from a local hand wash
    1. DoDo JUICE Lime prime i used it with a wet polishing pad by hand buffed off with a micro fiber (bucket of water with clean water keep it nice and wet i found it works better doing it this way makes the paint look like glass)
2.Polished it with autoglym super resin polish with a clean micro fiber
3.Top coat of MEGUIARS NXT GENERATION TECH 2.O WAX with another clean micro fiber
I FOUND THIS DONE THE TRICK FOR ME
Now when i go to the hand wash i take it home to dry it with a extra large micro fiber and they havent come back
