best book her in for MOT/Service then....(money grows on trees, - doesn't it???)
*lol* I have a service booked on Saturday, £195.00 !!!!
not doing VX service now out of warranty - anyone who wants to buy my car in a few years wont care (as it'll have 85+ miles on the clock by then) - £120 at local garage...dont know what it'll be plus MOT?!
Get MOT done BEFORE end of warranty, then any failure can be sorted out by VX under warranty I'd have thought.
BTW you do NOT need VX servicing for warranty to be valid.
look at the V5 for the first registered date, or on the DVLA tax reminder which will tell you that,'......this vehicle is due an MOT on ----'. You can then book the MOT up to one calender month before that date (but take the V5 with you to book it early, you can't book it early without this). Then, as mentioned above, you could possibly get any failures done under warranty (as long as the failed items are warranty covered obviously). Best of luck mate.Originally Posted by Ste
