    Default snow foam...

i want to try washing the car with snow foam method but seeing as there is a hose pipe ban can i use one of these?

    Pressure spray bottle

with snow foam aren't you meant to rinse the car beforehand?

will any shampoo foam when its pressurized or do i need a specific shampoo.

    any advice is welcome. cheers

probably not put enough water on the car, they tend to give a fine spray/mist.

I just use a watering can with a rose on it, hose pipe ban friendly, although we haven't had it enforced yet by Severn Trent so I'm still using gallons of water to wash my cars with.

i've been using a watering can aswell Nige, but when it comes to washing the car i just don't get enough suds unless i put the shampoo straight on the wash mitt. it's probably because i'm using cold water, but i'm too lazy to boil a kettle

One good thing about living in the North is we rarely get a hosepipe ban. Ive had the sprinkler on every evening. Garden is looking lovely and green

Re washing the car. I wouldn’t bother with snow foam at the minute. Its too hot anyway. It will just dry on the car and not run off. Without a hosepipe, I’d rinse it first with a watering can, then bucket and mitt, then watering can again.

doesnt make a difference really. It come down to water hardness and the shampoo. Try putting the shampoo in the bucket and having the water spray down on top of it. It should create suds. Give it a good forth with your hand too. If i remember right, autogylm isnt very 'suddy' anyway. as long as it feels slick it will do its job.

There's a product called Maxi-Suds by Chemical Guys, a shampoo, which suds-up aa liitle too well. The next door neighbour asked if i was having a foam party there was that much blowing across the street.

You wil be lucky to get lAutoglym shampoo to sud-up at all.
