Anyone done a convertion recently, or gets to play with the front bumpers regularly?

How different is the curvature in the bumpers? With a cut and a shut could you get a VXR splitter to fit the pre face bumper?...

I think danboy was trying this a few years ago,it wouldn't fit............

Booo, Bonus time soon and fancied the vxr rear and side peices. only realy want to do it if i can tie it in with the front. Think the Irmy front is a little too square for the rest of the kit?!?

How much out was it, know the facelift can be done with the same slam panel so was hoping just an inch or too and "bodge" it in...

It will fit with modifcation though, if we are talking about the XP splitter? I can dig out the pics that shows whats what if you want?

The bodyshop at the time said they could do it for me, I just ended up not doing it as was between jobs at the time.

There's a Pre facelift Irmscher splitter fitted to a facelift SRi somewhere about, think its Caledonian.

It might work with the facelift XP, over the outside of the irmy lip and fill the gaps...

Only looks like there's a gap towards the corners, the irmy underneath would fill that - Then smooth the lot in?!?

Found his pics (hope he doesn't mind me posting ), Irmy one is slightly more square at the corners...

Yea its just the corners where there is a gap, as the sides screw in properly and the front centre is fine
