Don;t worry about it, I am a useless woman too, except not a woman.. and.. eh...

My point, I requested a how2 on fuel filter recently too. I think its a bit more complicated than it seems, got to watch out for air in the fuel lines?

me thinks our request is falling on deaf ears?
I can cope with the bleeding of the lines, if I knew where to find it in the first place....before it gets dark would be good....

engine bay firewall, dead centre top... black cannister two fuel lines coming to it...

remove unplug electrical water detection connector from underneath. remove connector from top.. wiggle the entire cannister upwards out of the cradle. Use something 2 pronged to remove the fuel lines, need to depress 2 tabs either side so the fuel line can slide out..

once out of vehicle.. place a rag around it and put into a vice to hold secure but not crush, use big waterpump pliers or such like to undo top of cannister... remove paper filter cartridge, replace with new... resecure top (note, if not tight enough it will pee out diesel when you turn the ignition on) once all refitted, turn igntion on wait 20secs, turn it off and then back on again, you'll hear it prime the fuel filter and blow the air back out to the tank
