    Default air conditioning

    can any one recommend place to get air con parts. need to get compressor, condensor, reciever dryer and possibly an expansion valve.

    go to a scrappy.....cos its gonna cost you a fortune.....

    how come you need full setup?

    regassed itand put some tracer dye in as it did not work found leak in condensor at front. compressor is also leaking behind pulley. but when its run the pressure is too high. so filter is either blocked in reciverdryer or expansion valve has gone.

    I used this bunch for parts when i did my Omega. Delivered quick, everything was brand new, undamaged, well packaged and sensibly priced.
    A scrappy might be an option, but then there's also the thought of going to all the trouble to get parts from them then finding out something's knackered.
    In the long run you might be better off with all new parts - at least you then have warranty to fall back on.
