I wonder how much the stealer would have charged if you'd taken the car in and asked them to replace the pipes? 1, 2 hours of labour + VAT?

P.S. Thanks for the pictures btw!

I know....well cheap. They only got 1 metre left and that mine..... !

Silly thing is local autofactor's want £4.50 for 1m....... !

Great fix but not sure how the pipe will stand up to the heat?

Been to stealers today to get price on original pipe and the cost is only 11.07 inc vat for both so i have ordered them and will be with me next week.

    Part numbers for anyone interested

Long one ( photo left ) - V0055204300 ( includes long pipe and elbow )
    short one ( photo right ) - V0093181902

Hi all sorry for the delay I had mycar out today for 3hours and the pipes stand to the heat very well yes they do go softer than when there cold but no effect in performance and the pipe every one is looking at which is not there on there car on previous thread guys are saying what's that pipe

The pipe I have fitted a boost gauge and that pipe is there for the Reading of boost off my boost hose so I get a true boost Reading hope that helps guys and it's 4mm inner diameter if I remember rightly

    Default Pipe mod

Wow can't believe how much changing two small pipes can make to the feel of your car did this mod with the harder pipe yesterday the car seems to pull harder and alot more responsive from lower down all the way up I've ordered the genuine longer one yesterday from Vauxhall aswell but think I'm sticking with the harder pipe so I'll be getting my money back as soon as it's hear on Tuesday lol
