    Great thread.

Something every 1.9cdti 150 owner should check.

Are these the only pipes to check or are there ones lower down at the turbo also?

ok guys so a few pics of the pipes i changed now the one showing the old black pipes is not good as my camera is not the best and you cant see the perishing in it the other pic where my finger is this is the most common place for it to split or hole so check this very carefully

the cable ties are there just for piece of mind

    any comments more than welcome

I thnk the old pipes were getting too much suction and closing off as now the turbo kicks in at just over 1200revs and my boost gauge is showing steady boost through out the rev range as I was getting boost dropping off just slightly but def worth buying some hard rubber pipe cost me 3quid for 4mm by 3meters of pipe and made a hell of a difference worth changing just to remove the turbo lag
any pics of your clear pipes fitted

    Great pics.
Good to hear it cured your turbo lag.

I noticed that the boost pipes are set up differently on your engine than the engine on page 1 of this thread.

Mine are the same as the pics on pg1. Did you modify yours or is their different setups from the factory?

    Winnie,

I have found all the other vac pipes, but what on earth is this one I have circled?

Did you change this one too? I dont recall seeing this one on mine?

    Thanks.

Where did you source the clear piping?

49p?! Is that enough to do the whole lot?

I wonder how much the stealer would have charged if you'd taken the car in and asked them to replace the pipes? 1, 2 hours of labour + VAT?

P.S. Thanks for the pictures btw!
