Great thread.
Something every 1.9cdti 150 owner should check.
Are these the only pipes to check or are there ones lower down at the turbo also?

ok guys so a few pics of the pipes i changed now the one showing the old black pipes is not good as my camera is not the best and you cant see the perishing in it the other pic where my finger is this is the most common place for it to split or hole so check this very carefully
the cable ties are there just for piece of mind
any comments more than welcome
Hope these pics help you ppl it has vastly improved my car instead of a massive turbo kick I get a smooth strong power delivery all the way from 1200rpm to 5000rpm
But pics as you requested guys
whoops pics hadnt loaded
Winnie,
I have found all the other vac pipes, but what on earth is this one I have circled?
Did you change this one too? I dont recall seeing this one on mine?
Thanks.
Where did you source the clear piping?
.....but I just rang Vx, 49p for a 1 metre strip of Vc piping.
49p?! Is that enough to do the whole lot?
I wonder how much the stealer would have charged if you'd taken the car in and asked them to replace the pipes? 1, 2 hours of labour + VAT?
P.S. Thanks for the pictures btw!
