help swapping over grills

just got a lower signum grill to put on my vec, question is how the hell do i get the old grills out( top and bottom )

the signum grill is solid between the slats, where as its open on the vec grill, is this ok as it covers up the radiator,

by the look of it the signum has got a bigger v than the vectra, but need to swap them so the slats look the same

I'm guessing we're talking facelift here. Lower grille is easy to get off, just a bunch of clips round outside.

Upper grille is a****** to get off in my opinion. comes off in three parts, the chrome V, the backing and then the grill. All done with plastic clips but a pain to figure out which clips are for which.

Upper grill is a pain in the backside, job for 2 people i would say although can be done on your own

Been looking at getting top and bottom grills myself, all the manufatures are quoting 20 minutes each to fit
