Default Help locating a thread with a home made aux in socket

Trying to find a thread where someone has made their own cubby hole connection for the aux-in socket (not a switch one).

I'm not paying nearly £50 for the tray with a hole in!

    Any help would be appreciated

nope, but in the eighth pic down you can see the cubby with the aux in.. I'm after a thread that shows someone who has made their own holder that fits into the existing try and uses the vx aux in cable.

    Thanks for looking though.

Instead of doing it that way, use one of the dash switch blanks like I have

I did this mod this morning to my CDR 2005. regardless of where you're putting the aux in, it's pretty much the same process but you drill the hole in a different place.
