interchangable dials (speedo/rpm counter)

can the dials from one model to be used in another.. I have a z20net and was thinking of installing a z28net set of dials but i notice that the info led/display in the rev counter is not in the z28 version but it does seem to have the same width led display in the speedo? Is the milage also stored on this or the ECU as i would want to keep my own milage?

probably cheaper to get a set of dials made up to the specification that you want then this way you will have your mileage and existing cluster just with a custom face on it

normally i would not even be bothered about changing the instrument cluster but I do quite fancy this z28net cluster thats is being offered to me, its nice..
