    what is it for ???? i know im being thick also what does everyone use to shine their alloys i hate havin shiny tires and dull looking alloys...

    clay pull all the crap off ya paintwork that polish goes over. it gives it a glass like feel. its really good stuff and really easy to ise. just make sure you wax car after to seal it

    I found clay to be a bit of a con lol... it moved the tiny rough surface contaminants but no the major crap from tree sap etc (the tiny green circles you sometimes get).

    However I bought a wheel clean kit from autoglym which was pretty good. Comes with custome wheel clean, a clean brush which gets right into the lil areas, then I polished and waxed and then used the wheel seal.. Gives a two tone effect on the paintwork.. very nice

    Clay is not for removing big particals. It is designed to remove the stuff you cant see like tiny contaminants in the paints surface.

    You clean first to remove the visible. Clay to remove the invisible then start on the polish. No good polishing if the tiny particals are there as they add to the swirls
