confused Macaffe up for renewal...Time for a change?

The liscence for macafee is due up this week. I've heard Kaspersky (?SP?) is a better alternative. What do others use? Anyone use the Yoggie standa lone Dongle?

I have Kapersky I bought mine for a fiver at one of these "cheap" book shops. I have not installed it yet as I still have some time left on the "Bullguard" that was free for 6 months on this new PC. I have heard very good reports about Kapersky though.

We've been using kasperki for years, free from barclays bank. Mine ran out last year before they renewed so I also bought the £5 disc. Excellent protection and covers 3 computers.
I'd recommend it. I know we all have our own preferences, found some of the free ones let stuff through, others won't run on our 64bit systems. I go on the Trend Micro site once a month and run Housecall, to make sure the antivirus etc has kept honest.

avg free used to be good nut now its went like many other AV bulky and slow with to many add on etc which eat system usage. I use kaspesky at home only because it was free with barclays. however i would recommend eset nod32 AV really quick & really good. Doesnt kill your pc. (I rolled it out at work, im an IT Tech, and really like it)

Nor me until recently. The link scanner slowed my browsing to a crawl. Felt like I had gone back to dial up.

Turned out it was causing conflicts with Zone Alarm.

Had to uninstall and reinstall AVG without the link scanner part of it.
