    Default DAB Aerial question ?

Forgive me if i am talking out of my axxe as i could be wrong.

I have a dab aerial on my vectra estate, i have had my whip knicked at least half a dozen times over the last two years.

Recently looking at the new Insignia i noticed that they have the new sharks fin aerial fitted, do any of the techies out there who might work for a dealers know if the sharks fin is suitable for DAB and if it has got the same connectors as the standard DAB aeria fited to the Vectra C's, and if it could be retro fitted.

    Hope this makes sence..

    Thanks

Intersting question, be good to know this. I can sense its going to expensive tho from the dealers as the standard dab one is £100 or so

Insignia shark fin is a GPS aerial. The rear windscreen is the aerial for the radio on the cars with GPS.

there might yet be a shark fin type (non vx) aerial that you could fit. as it's just the aerial you need to replace you could try an audio specialist and cut out the confused vx dealer factor!
