Track Rod Ends or Inner Track Rods

I am not at all mechanically sound, so will want to get someone else to do the work for me, but want to know what I am asking for.

How can I tell whether it is just the ends, or if I need to replace the rods too?

When braking the car pulls a little to the left, and when I am accelerating whilst sterring left, it feels like the left wheel is not traking properly, and slipping round a little further than it should. The tyre wear is excessive on the inside of the tyre too.

Is there anything else I should look for too?

Check your springs, a chunk might have broken off and prob worth checking the droplinks too.
