    Default eurocar parts small rant

Yesterday I rang Euro car parts in Bradford and asked if they had a pollen filter and air filter for my veccy. Gave em the reg and was told that they had both in stock for £17 which was £7 cheaper than my local factors. So I travel 8 miles from home to Bradford, stand at the counter for 10 mins then tell the guy what I want. He goes into the computer system, prints the bill and I pay. He then goes to get my filters. 15 minutes later he appears with my air filter and goes off for my pollen filter By this time 3 more customers have appeared some armed with flasks and sandwiches. 15 minutes later the guy returns and says that he is having problems finding my filter and disappears. Enter more customers, 20 minutes later the guy returns and tells me that the pollen filter is not in stock but he could obtain one for tomorrow and could I do another round trip of 16 miles to collect it. Tried a cheapy cost me money but made a few friends standing in the queue.

Is yours a diesel? Seen these on Fleabay, thought it was good value. All the filters in one box.

I always order form ECP online, as they have free UK delivery. Usually next day.

It may be circumstance beyond their control, but ECP have been a bit useless recently with delivery times, don't pay for the next day delivery, you'll probably end up demanding a refund for it.

Hope they sort out their recent issues, because up until now they've been 100% spot on.

What really annoyed me was the fact that I rang them and they told me that both parts were in stock. When I got to the counter I had to pay before the guy (who hadn't a clue what he was doing) went to look for them. Then I had to wait again for a refund. I would have thought that their computer system would have a location for parts. To make matters worse there were at least 6 people sat around talking in an office who made no attempt to serve the customers in the ever increasing queue.
