    Default Fuse Identification Query

I know there is a list of fuses/relays in past threads/posts on here that I have contributed to & others, re our Facelift Club spec car , but I've long wondered what this was for...

The cable exits the battery box..see below....& goes down & round the front of the engine bay, down the O/S of the engine under the cam belt the round the back & disappears....

I removed the cap & found a 90amp fuse link.........

I've found a brief reference to it in the Haynes manual in the section for removing the battery/box etc...but no explanation of what it was for or what it is 'feeding'...no reference to it in the electrical schematic diagrams section...nothing in the Vxl Information manual which came with the car

If any one can answer my query I'd be grateful..

    Thanks

I believe this is a main power fuse. It's 90A like you said, which is a very high rated fuse, and is there in case of a dead short or any major overcurrent to prevent your battery from being damaged in the event of these failures, I've no idea where the wire goes to without looking at my own
