Free Google Maps Satnav

I dont know if it has been posted already but anyone with an Android phone check your Google maps. They have activated the satnav feature and to be honest its the best satnav I have ever used. It is worth it just for the automatic switch to google streetview when you enter the last street/road !

You can nav using the satellite view or standard map and select Traffic view so you can instantly see how congested the roads are and get re-routed !

All for free, I have it on my HTC Desire and it is awesome.

Just downloading this now, will be good to see how it compares to things like the tomtom and stuff like that as well as the Vecs Navi system

Weirdly I just noticed this while out Geocaching. (google it)
Wondered what it was and haven't had a chance to try it properly but have to drive from York to Derbyshire in a few hours so will give it a bash...

right i`ve just downloaded this to se vivaz phone..........will it run on gps or had i better phone orange an get mobile internet enabled quick

I dont think its compatible with SE phones mate. Most Nokia S60 software is as High spec SE's use the same software.

oh..........well its working so far,well i got the s60 version obviously just as back up for sat nav in the car
