Default Keep sri cdti 150, or sell and get a 2.2 sri direct 150 or octavia vrs

Well, as the title suggests I've got a few things whirring round in my head as to whether I keep the veccy sri cdti, sell it and get a 2.2 sri 150, or sell it and get an octavia vrs (in black)...I really miss the throaty sound of a petrol engine with a decent exhaust etc..I love to drive the cdti tbh but I'm not sure what I want to do atm lol...any comments ??

    I'd say a Z20NET (2.0T) over the 2.2 Direct.

I do fancy the Octavia vRS though!

i just sold my vectra and bought a yellow Octavia vRS and must say i love it.. i always fancied one since working at skoda.. good power as standard not much goes wrong and look pretty good to..alot of folk are detered from the badge.. just think VAG. i must say inside its smaller than the vectra but the boot space is bigger, sound system as standard isnt to bad but the vectras better.
they definately need lowewred if your used to a lowered vectra although sports suspension its a bit of a shock going into a bend to they also suffer indersteer. this is easily sorted out witha audi s3 lower brace which bolts on to the subframe it reduces it dramatically(first thing i done). breather system is bad for perishing so silicone is the way to go(second thing i done).
if you buy one thats not had a belt get it done along with the pump, as the old pump was murder for failing as they used a plastic impellar that broke off and caused overheating problems.
road noise is a slightly less than the vectra( i am compairing mine to the vectra lowered 40 on 20's though)

Black ones look great when bulled up blackmagic is a great colour to have. i went for yellow as they are few and far between. one thing i do miss though is the look of my vectra as i spent a fair whack on it and miss the look off a lowered vectra on 20' irmscher evo stars.. but the vRS will get their after i come back my holidays and get stuff ordered up .

plenty to do to them and plenty available for tuning etc oh and just to add my vectra was a 1.8 and the vRS as you know is 1.8 turbo with 180 bhp and the vRS is better on fuel
