    Eek Fullway Tyres Be Warned!

    Hi all,

The other day I got a sudden judder through my stearing wheel what felt likeit was coming from the near side front. I pulled over to have a look and found a egg (well it was more of a tennis ball!) on the inside of the tyre. I changed it for my spacesaver and was still getting judder but not as bad was hoping that it was just because the Veccy does not like the tiny spacesaver wheel!
I took the tyre back to my garage where I bought it from (got 2 brand new in March for MOT) the lad looked at it said he had never seen anything like it (I use the same garge all the time and know him well) He changed the tyre and i went on my way but the judder was still there so i went back and asked him to have a drive! judder was bad so he said leave it for a hour i will have a look. I got a phone call to say your not going to belive this the other tyre has a buldge 4 times the size of the other and did not understand how it had blown out! He took a photo to show me as he sent them back (I will ask him to send it to me so I can post) and it was 8 inches long sticking out 1 1/2 inches from the wall!
I am just pleased that i was not diving it when it did blow out as down a motorway I would not fancy my chances!
I am the only person that drives it and have not hit any kerbs or pot holes!
So be warned check your tyres and dont buy Fullway!

I'd never buy budget tyres of any brand. I know a lot of people on here do and seemingly swear by them, but personally as the tyres are one of the most important parts of the vehicle especially at speed, I've seen many failures over the years and heard of many fatal accidents caused by budget tyres, I have a lot more trust in the "better" brands and don't trust these so called "budget" brands. I've never spent less than £450 on a set of tyres for my car (16" wheels) and have been using the Michelin Primacy HP tyres on all my previous cars for a while now.

No it doesn't and i have read the post. That was a set batch from a well known and generally good maker. You just grouped the whole brand together and think they are all the same. Where as that was a manufacturing defect for that one batch, not all of the ntc5's were effected.

Budget tyres are just that. Cheap nasty chinese things made of plastic.

They are Fullway mate, Its a hard one cos i go through tyres like water (taxi driver) and really cant afford to pay over £100 per tyre, already getting crippled buy the cost of fuel however this really has scared the s**t out of me! Whats the point in saving money if your not around to spend it?
Would be intrested to know what other people run and if they have had problems?
