Default End of Veccy & Vauxhall

Well today was not a good day.

I have today sold my Vectra 3 V6 (with every option available) becuase in October it becomes 4 years old. The point when my extended warranty ends.

It was a difficult decision, however due to faults occuring and generally VX dealers antipathy I had to make this decision on the grounds that should these faults occur in the near future, they will be extremely expensive, VX are no longer "Value for money" in terms of repairing items, AFL should not need repairing on sensors every six months, I should not need a new ECU and Auto Gearbox ECU requiring replacement, however this has been the case

The van I still keep, as like my previous VX Cavalier, this has been faultless, howver I think as technology advances, VX are becoming ridiculously expensive in terms of repairs, the warranty is quite frankly, crap.

so that's me, I'm out, after many years with VX I have had had enough.

Which leaves me to say thank you to everyone here, this is a great forum, it has proved extremely useful to me over the last three years, and I wish you all well

    Kind regards

    Steve

I'm seriously considering the extended warranty as I have had a 1.9 CDTi 150 since January, my first ever diesel. I have also had several Vauxhalls and was very happy with my old Omega, but from reading on here the CDTi seems to have some regular expensive faults.
I understand your reasoning, such a shame Vauxhall are losing people for these reasons.
