    Default Buzzing from rear fuse box :(

    Hey peeps... anyone any ideas... just had a towbar fitted all electrics working fine .... heres the thing, i have a buzzing coming from the fuse box until i press the brake then it stops until i depress it and its back again .... all electrics working on the car fine its just the buzzing you can here from the rear fuse box...
    Any ideas??

    Could be a dodgy relay. They can make a buzzing sound when they have had it, you'll have to listen in the area when you're stationary and try to hear exactly where the sound is coming from

    i have this same noise but only when connected up to the caravan.....and engine switched off

    I had a similar problem last year except that the buzzing was there continuosly. when I looked at fuse box in boot . I found a wire that had a spade on which was pushed into an empty fuse socket .This wire was loose at the socket i pushed it back in and the buzzing stopped.

    Thanx for your replys guys... just been in and taken a closer columbo inspection and found where the noise is coming from.. its a black box where all the wires go into from the lights which i think is what the garage fitted with the towbar.... its just its really loud and annoying... grrrrr
    Back to the garage tomorrow me thinks as i only just had it fitted...
