Info light on, ignition off Strange

Had a strange one tonite, watching tv out of corner of my eye noticed a orange glow from my car on the drive.

Gave the motor my full attention and noticed the square info centre on the dash lighting up for about a couple of seconds then going out.

This seems to be happening every few minutes, just got the car so don't know if this is normal or not. Can anybody shed any light on this

Nope, not normal...

Could be a fault with the screen, or the BCM (Body control module) behind the glove-box.

You should take take this back to where you got it from, and get them to sort it.

Is there any clicking from near the glove box..?.
if there is, then most likely the BCM...if not, then most likely the screen.

No clicking from dash or glovebox but faint clicking from rear of car after light goes out lasts for about 10 sec

No its the CCR 2006

ok just cd30's used to turn them self on but can't be that

Thinking about it now the lights on the stereo unit came on as well

why i wondered if for some weird reason it turned on

Is it something I should be worried about, don't want lumbering with a large bill after warrenty expires

just see if it happens again is all i can think off and see if the radio has the ignition logic is turned on.
