Default new rear shocks what to choose for front!

    Hi Guys

Following this thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106379 where my rear springs had snapped... ive orderd new rear shocks too.. (ive picked them up today, and just fitted).

Think it realy needed it as i dont think they ever has been changed.. (car has done 114.000 KM).

They are selfleveling suspencion (Thats for the help Rich ).

Now the car is level.. rear end is now at 70,5 cm and front is 69,5 from ground to wheel arch. (before the new shocks but just normal the rear end was lower than the front end as it was 68 cm high then).

But i can now feel that i realy need new front shocks (i know i will have Bilstein B4 for them).

But what front springs should i go for... should i go for:

Normal OEM front springs without any lowering
SRI OEM front springs with that 1,5 cm lowering.

I cant go for the 3 cm lowering, as that would look stupid with that much difference..

2 pictures, 1 of the new shocks 1 of the old shocks.

    Nope no IDS+

Its for the selfleveling suppencion (spelled wrong), you can only have it if:
    No IDS+
    No sports suppencion

And its actually only those shocks that do the trick.. they are quite heavy compared to the old ones..

It just levels out the car, when on load.. "standart" opel/vauxhall bit.. and actually another way to put xenon on legaly.. as EU requirements are:
    Headlight washer
    Approved headlight
Autoleveling (either of the light via sensors, or via autoleveleing suspencion on rear axel)

thanks Rich... i know i need the SRI springs, drop links, top bearings.. and the rubber sleave ( but have to wait until payday... think ive spend enough on the car this month.. as i also need new disc and pads allway round.. (probaly then the breaks here due to weight))
