Default Shower Gone Cold, any ideas?

Anyone know any reasons why a shower would suddenly go cold..

If I turn it up to the highest setting it's luke warm rather than cold.

The element in the shower has gone mate. New shower time as it wil cost more to fix than to renew altogether.

    It's an electric shower (http://www.shower-spares.co.uk/triton/T300si.htm)

Problem is the holes in the tiles are already cut for this type so it would mean more work to fit a different design. I may just try and fix this one or replace the whole power pack (fig 7).

My electric shower just went, fixed it the same day....

Its extremely common for the pull cord switch contacts to burn out, in my case it was a combination of the switch contacts and the dodgy wiring.

But if you use the pull cord to turn off/on your shower it will burn out in no time at all.

I've ordered a heater can assembly at £60. Let's hope that's the culprit.

I have a triton t110xr which has started cutting out to cold, the low pressure light comes on. The problem was the PCB (circuit board) which cost me £69 from Triton. I can get a new shower for £120, so maybe should have done that.

Got the new heater today went to fit it and noticed the pcb has a burn mark on one of the connectors to the heater assembly (only noticed this when I was trying to remove one of the wires to the assembly, the pin has now just come completely out of the board)!

So I'm not sure which part has caused the other part to blow????

Looking at another £60 for a new PCB
