New intercooler

Right so my intercooler has got a hole in it, it's blowing a little jet of air/oil onto the inside of the bumper. So i guess i'll be needing a new one then. Anyone know of a good place to get one? I could do with it for fitting by tuesday. ....oh yeah anyone fancy helping me fit it?

hi big wilko still not found the whoosh noise from my 120 cdti, how did you find out about hole in intercooler? and have you been given a price for a new one?

alright bud. i was driving down the road and i saw smoke!!! got up at 6am this morning and took the front bumper off and there it was. I could see oil on the air con radiator. I went to touch it and i could feel a little jet of air coming through it. There was oil on the back of the bumper sill

Popped to my local garage and drove it over the pit and the mechanic said the intercooler was burst so bad it was sagging the whole centre of it. He's gonna get me a price on monday. He was an Astra CDTI owner and we were talking about a upfront intercooler. hmmmmmmm!

Local garage quoted £300 for parts and fitting. Stealers £188 for intercooler. Yours truely is fitting it!
