Very easy to fit. Most places will tell you what you need - which one. Just make sure that if you need the radio code you have it.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

If I have to disconnect battery without upsetting radio I usually run jump leads from car wiring battery connector to new battery, disconnect old battery, lift new battery in, put connector on, then remove jump leads.

searched web and came to conclusion mine would be ok, bought battery from costco, bosch s5 (s0007) £70.49 with 4 year guarantee.

just changed it without connecting charger, then reset windows, radio reset time and date automatically (cd30) all went fine

cheapest other battery was eurocarparts at 54 quid battery for a diesel is an 096
