please help car is in pieces!!

hey gents, fitting a dump valve from forge, the how to on this is rubbish, when i undid the old actuator a spring and diahragm shot out at me!!! do i need to refit this spring and diaphragm!!!

Can i just re-fit the blanking plate with nothing behind it??

and im realli ****ed off becasue i broke the gasket ****ing around with this crap spring im well aware it will now leak oil forever but apparently the gasket is non-purchasable,

please help with reference to the spring, the car needs to get finished and light is rapidly failing?!?!?!?!?!

can you not make your own gasket from a blank sheet

ok quick update, chucked the old recirc gubbins, spring-seat-and diaphragm has gone fitted the blanking plate, had to cut the engine cover as i cut the pipe too close the valve was rubbing

(im really god at this DIY stuff

)

but long and short:

IT WORKS!!!!

so far

only took me 3hours and much much swearing!!

yes mate, there is several on there, it was supplied by "toxic rides" 140quid with 5quid delivery, its a great bit of kit, the quality seems fantastic just took me longer to fit than most as im rubbish at mechanics!
