    Default Vectra Alarm Sensors

Thinking of getting a clifford blackjax thatcham cat 1 alarm/immob (has a keypad immob to stop some1 from stealing your keys and driving off in your motor)

just wondered what sensors the standard thatcham cat 1 vauxhall alarm has so I only get the sensors on the new 1 that the vauxhall standard one doesnt have, i.e. costs me less.

    so does it have:

    - proximity sensors??
    - glassbreak/tamper sensors??
    - interior sensors??
    - tilt/motion sensors??
    - sensors that set alarm off when it senses a door/boot/bonnet has been opened??

    cheers.

It has the last 3 for deffo, but no proximity sensors..surely the interior sensors will cover the glassbreak thou???

After the recent 'fun' that mark the cabby's had with his top-notch alarm and tracker install, i'd make sure that it'll work with CANBUS and that the fitters REALLY know what they're doing with a Vec..Lets just say that for 48hrs cabby wasn't a happy man..

Think you'll find Clifford (although from professional experiance I'd never have one) should now do a CAN Bus alarm which would be the best bet to go with.
