    Default Lowering my Vectra

I own a 2008 Vectra cdti 150 Caravan and want it lowered. I'm thinking of buying some spring which will lower it 40F and 30R and I'll keep the stock shocks. The car had 15k miles on it... Any experiences and opinions on the subject?
    Thanks guys..

From general car experience (not Vauxhall), lowering springs put more stress on the shocks, the lower you go, the quicker you kill standard shocks. My 2 penneth worth would be to forget spending £100 (i just made that number up) on 4 springs and go for the best coil over kit you can afford!

    *EDIT*
Just a thought, would VXR shocks & springs not give you roughly the drop you're looking for?

I've got 40r/45f PI's on stadard shock - No issues, and i had a 40r/60f kit on my Astra for 3yrs years on standard shocks no issues...

Think most people who fit and have shocks fail already had unseen issues. No need to replace untill they do/have failed...

If mine go then i will get some bilsteins etc, but no need untill IMO - well unless your a bit flush

Oh and i Vote PI's, you'll only wish you went lower...
