If it had beeen just the clock, I could have blamed the "auto update" facility in the menu settings.
I never have my clock set to auto correction by the radio stations as this can often set the time incorrectly.
But to reset everything is very strange...is it just the time or the date that is wrong?
If it is both, then it sounds like a display fault, which cuts the power to the screen at approx 2:30 am...
This would give the following outcome: -
Time would reset to midnight, and the date will revert to the freeze-date of the firmware...for you some time in 2007 or 2008...hence why the clock is 2 1/2 hours behind!!
AS it is only 2 yrs old, the display will still be under warranty...get your opel dealer to check it out and fix it!! - Should be free of charge.
Can anyone help? I have a CDR 2005 and am looking for the code to reset the unit after having the battery disconnected. Any ideas where the best place is to get the code for the radio unit?
Thanks

Dealers is the best bet...approx £25
The audio pass (credit card sized piece of card) will also contain all your immobilizer codes etc.

My 2007 vectra sri is always losing the time and date. Anything i should try? Would I still be able to get it looked at under warranty?
