Default How much did your last fill up cost

just being to tescos to fill up the Car( 2006 1.8vvti exclusive). £1.21per Ltr and the car was running on fumes, petrol light not just on put flashing too for about a day. Cost me £70 most yet. When are these fuel prices going to drop or they just going to keep rising?

I fear they are here to stay now. I filled up with diesel with 40 miles range left and it cost £61 at £1.21.

However that will give me over 500 miles

That won't make any difference to the price of fuel. Its going to keep going up so we may as well get used to the fact. I think its time to start a more cunning plan. IE no one use esso etc for a week. make them fill up their storage tanks and have to shut down the process.

    Anyway

Cost me £40 from 1/3 of a tank. Whole tank gone in about 300 miles
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

So them not adding about 15p in fuel duty on top of high oil prices in the past year of so hasn't effected things,

What I was trying to get across is that all the parties will do the same and I am sure they would have done the same in the past too. Weather it was labout, lib dem etc it would still be roughly in the same ball park price as it is now. Thinking any different would be a bit naïve tbh.
