    Default Z32se performance camshafts

    Hi

Just want to make 100% sure that it will work , sent a mail to piper asking them if the opv6bp270hb cams they have for the x30xe will work on the z32se motor . Looks like im in luck because they let me know that it would work , now its just to save up for a set . Did any of you guys do this mod , do you think that I would get a nice gain in power since I'm looking for more torque . After I fit them I can have the Unichip Q remaped to get the best out of them .

    Thank You

Currently looking into cams for the 3.2, called Swindon race engines and although they do blanks are only suitable if used with solid lifters.

Also called Piper yesterday spoke to the Mgr who said if I were to send my set in they would probaly be able to re profile, so considering that route.

Got a 3.2 in my Vec B running 272bhp, but torque at about 245lb, so hoping this will squeeze a bit more.

    Heres a video of a test from 40-100kph (24-62mph) in 3rd gear .

Heres my dyno figures , since then we fixed the leak on both exhaust manifolds and connected the valves on the intake the correct way around . They only mapped to 5500rpm .

Using original Vec C plenum, lightend flywheel, 3 branch exhaust tubulars, TVR cat, full custom exhaust, Piper cone, Dastek ECU, live mapped.
