Lets hope they stay open this time..............
be a different headline tomorrow lol..im not flying till july so as long as its cleared by then lol.
So basically nothing has changed but they have let planes up so either the Gov was talking rubbish (shocker!) or planes will start falling out the sky soon.
And there was me thinking of starting an air ship travel company.found a second hand zeppellin on e-bay !
Theres an app on my iphone that shows a live map of aircraft movements over europe and there are 148 planes currently over france and the UK..
The NAT were always going to be in a difficult position, I suspect they have bowed to pressures from the within the industry.
I would rather have a aviation authority who were safety cautious rather than one that was not, best to be stuck for a week struggling to get back to the UK than be dead!
In the event that one plane had crashed due to the conditions, no one would have criticised the NAT whatsoever.
It would be nice to believe that airlines were as cautious, and so safety inclined when maintaining the planes, somehow I doubt it.
I still can't believe everyone is blaming the Government for them not getting back yet - nor can I believe Brown sent part of the Navy down to help people...
There are lots of ways to get in to the country - hiring a car or getting a train is a good way if you really don't want to stay where you are... It's not the tax payer's responsibility to get you home jsut because the airlines can't fly. Use some initiative...
Unless you're stuck in America, in which case you'll just have to wait - or swim...
Think it might be a bit late to catch our flight now. Oh well 11 weeks til the next holiday, guess I can wait.
