    Default ICE dilemma, opinions please

I'm planning ahead. I pick up a Signum on Saturday (04 3.0 Elite) and it currently has the CCR2006 which, after a short play, I was quite underwhelmed with.

Ultimately I want to get bluetooth handsfree and an ipod dock and I'm aware there are a few options and thought I would ask the experts for opinions.
I want a clean factory look with very little to indicate that work's been done and I want the screen and steering wheel controls to work. I'm not too bothered about sat nav.

So, option 1: Stick with the CCR2006, install Parrot MKI9000 or similar and use that for the ipod dock too.

option 2: Junk the CCR2006 and buy a CD70 or some similar factory unit that will work in the car and give me everything I want. Assuming this can be done, of course.

Option 3: Junk the CCR2006 and fork out for a rather impressive-looking VXMMI. Expensive, but looks to tick all the boxes.

Option 4: Cheap option, Stick with the CCR2006 and fit a cheap and simple bluetooth system and then fit a reasonable FM modulator for the ipod.

    Any thoughts?

Yeah, I noticed that. it's a shame because it looks a great bit of kit.

That's quite a nice piece of kit. I love the price too. I think I'd certainly choose that over the VXMMI given the price and the fact I'm not bothered about sat nav, DVD etc.
thing is though, other than sound quality, am I really gaining anything over the CCR2006 + Parrot kit option?
The only other problem with the Alpine HU is it might look a bit out of place.

Does anyone have a pic of one in situ by any chance?

Option 2 would need to be a NCDC2013 or 2015, your existing set-up is for half can radio with ISO connectors....

CD70 is full canbus with quadlock connectors. This can be done, but is quite involved - conversion looms and aerial plugs etc.

There is a how 2 available for retro-fitting the NCDC radios and screens.
