I think its harder on a facelift Vec, which you have. Im interested in this also !

Believe you need modules for each mirror and obviously the electric powered mechanisms. I remember someone saying its quite costly.

Oh, and once fitted, I think it needs tech2 activation (Basically, to tell the cars brain that it now has the folding mirrors fitted and that it can use them)

Its not harder on a facelift than a prefacelift... its excatly the same...

look in that how2 too ... mines a prefacelift, but now using the doorlooms from a facelift, and new mirrors, PDM, DDM. but yes it need activation... (the actuall DDM/PDM dont need to bee in the car for programming... eg. mine its on route to the UK to be programed, and then returned to me )

I can do the programming side of things for you with Tech 2, as I'm only in Selby. Firstly check you've got the correct door loom first, Two wires ones Black with a Green tracer, the other is Black with a Brown tracer.

Probably looking at around £250 for the parts but the cost can be subsidised by selling your old door modules (once they have been tech 2 cleared, again I can do) and the mirror housings. You can save quite a bit by sourcing the parts elsewhere, Ebay have a drivers side folding mirror on at the moment for £60 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VECTRA-C-MIRRO...=item20b0594bb, also check out car parts connexion and send a enquiry off.

Meant to put that in my post, there's no need to have the dimming glass connected, if yours isn't dimming at the moment you can also sell on the dimming glass which is about £150 new from the stealer or keep it for a later mod. If you want any advice, help checking the wires or even a hand fitting it all just let me know. You can also see mine in action first if you like.

It may be more difficult on a facelift because some faclift don't have the PDM at all.
If you don't have PDM you have to do some rewireing in the bodyloom, ad Can bus to the door and remove some wires. Not sure this is a case with Vauxhalls but with Opel it is.
