You will not be able to syphon it out. The Vectra B has an Anti syphon neck.

REMOVE A PIPE AT THE ENGINE BAY! FIT A SUITABLE PIPE TO PUMP IT OUT!! do this by just turning the key on+off!! (the elec fuel pump will do it for you) just done the same thing with a peugeot. what rg is it ? aint it worth picking a pump up from a scpappy.

If it's only going for scrap, drill a 10mm or so hole in the lowest point you can.... let the fuel drain out then plug the hole with a suitable epoxy repair putty.

You wont have an electric pump in the fuel tank on any Vectra with the 2.0/2.2 dti engines fitted , its only the cdti engined models that use a tank mounted pump. (and petrol models of course)

A vec B will not have an in tank pump (even the Vec C DTi's don't)

Best bet is to cut the fuel lines under the tank and let it run out
