    Default would a

    cd 30 with gid taken from a pre facelift fit a facelift and work with the steering controls and trip computer?

    If it was in a prefacelift then it's a full can version, some did exist just prior to the change to facelift so yes it should work.

    Yes it will!!

    ALL CD30's are Full Canbus, regardless of being pre-facelift or facelift.

    The only differences between pre-facelift and facelift is the size of the Colour Info Display....wider in the facelift vehicles!!

    If the radio and screen are still paired, then it will be merely plug and play...ish.

    Just check that you have 2 reds and 2 browns in the display plug.
    If not, then you need to
    link pin1 to pin 2 and then
    link pin 3 to pin 5....job done.!

    Extra answers - wheel controls - yes these will work

    BC / Computer functions - Yes if they were working in the donor car. (The settings will remain unchanged within the display EEPROM)
