    Default Wont go past 3000rpm

I have a 2004 Signum 3.0dti V6. The car will not go above 3000rpm and when you reach this it begins to jerk and misfire. Happy enough below this point.
Diagnostics check brought back no faults. EGR has been stripped and cleaned did not make an ounce of difference. My mechanic is now baffled. Any advice welcome...........

Sounds like a fuel problem to me.

    Hope I am wrong - have a look here - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108360

Get it on tech 2 and ask them to look at the fuel demand vrs supply.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Replace the fuel filter. If that won't help you're looking at a SCVs replacement.

Main dealer level equipment that can see a lot more than just fault codes.

If you give the car a good hideing for example drop it down the gears to make it work. It does sometimes come to life and begin to work. Then as soon as the car slows you go through the same sceneario. Taking this into account would you still point at the fuel pump and 'scvs'. I really dont fancy these at all!!!!
