don't their remaps always say the remapped bhp etc is higher than it actually is? I was told to avoid them by a few people..

these guys (click link below) who are forum sponsors would get my vote and are my remappers of choice..

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=160

if you mention you are a vec c forum member you will get a discount.. the cost of a remap for my engine with them is £350 or they will come to you for an extra £50..

Quite a few guys on here have used him and he has a good reputation..

Now, here comes the real dilema. I am booked in at Mid-point Garage (MPG) at 10:00 on Tuesday and booked in at Regal Autosport at 10:00 Wednesday. MPG charge £480 for an EDS IPS software remap and Regal charge £575 for the same product. Which one do I go for? For the past few months I have been thinking Regal because it is what I know, however, I have read 'Telly Addicts' thread about his remap at MPG and..... WOW, I'm impressed. £100 is a big saving for the same job and both have good reviews. Argh, I'm really . Don't know which one to go for? Please help me guys and girls!

Regal maps are ok but very VERY few seem to give the promised gains with a couple of 3.2's have since been bore washing - however, you will be impressed with what they can do. Have you looked at BSR remaps?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I was running regal on my old astra 1.9cdti and I have to say it was ****** brilliant... Very very smooth power all the way to the limiter.. I ran 195bhp and 349lbft at courtneay .. Even they said it was a good map... Check out last months tv mag if you wanna see.....

My mind is now made up and I will be taking the car to MPG on Tuesday. £100 is quite a bit of money and it means I don't have to drive back to Southampton before going back to Plymouth, so again save money on fuel . Thanks for answering my questions guys, appreciate the help
