    Default vxr boot spoiler

    as above fitting it next week once painted but my question is the third brake light how do you change it if it needs replacing?

    to change third brake light get your self the thin spreader that you get in p38 bodt filler cut it into four peices so that you have four taperd edges then slot them in the edge of the light where you see the metal clips you have to look real close, once you in sert them you will see the light pop forward then unplug it.

    And you don't need to replace the brake light if your fitting the VXR spoiler.

    The cut out in the spoiler is there so that the brake light is visible.

    i think what he means is once the spoiler is fitted, what happens if a bulb blows or something. I too thought this.?

    Only some have clear access to it my 03 has a sealed metal box behind it so if i need to change mine i will get the angle grinder out

    thats what i meant lol i also read what bigmac says some have access at back, but would be a rite faff tryin to do it from behind surely?

    More of a faff than un-sticking the VXR spoiler and re-bonding it back on..?

    true, but isnt the light it self a couple of mm biger then the opening making it very hard from the back?

    Without looking not 100%, but I think it is yes.

    That only leaves access from behind (said the bishop to the nun)
