LOL thanks guys yes i've tried Admiral and they came up exactly the same as Elephant.

Bit worried about the price thing now though, what sort of service should i expect if i am going to get my insurance so much cheaper?

Is it just because i am "new business" to the insurance companies that these quotes are so cheap and next year i will be in the same boat, higher insurance again and the need to shop around?

Doing my nut in really as i should be taking the kids out but got to get this done...

    Steve,

we ALWAYS shop around every year for insurance...

Top tip... elephant will have asked you for a phone number.. they'll ring you and try to secure your business.. you then dutch auction them off the wall and they'll keep dropping the price..i did this and got £75 off the on-line price..

All the usual policy toys are included and they still cut their own throats..

if you have cover to let you leave it a day or two then elephant WILL be ringing

IMO tesco are overpriced..the claims side of the have let several family members down big-time recently.. I've had no complaints with elephant/admiral.

    Well they haven't rung yet.

You should have heard the telesales guy from Elephant on the phone last night, he was talking so much as if it were his last breath.

Sounds like they are the people to go with, when they phone i will tell them i have had lower quotes and see what happens

Thanks for the help so far guys

Try confused.com it searches loads of insurance companies and lists them in price order.
