    Default Need new jack

    Hi all,

The amazingly strong Vx Jack I have is actually bent! I need another one to lug around in the boot for emergencys. Anyone know where I can get a suitable scissor jack that will fit the odd jacking points (i.e rectangle slots instead of sills). Would prefer one which fits into the container that the Vx one comes in.

Will try Vx tomorrow, but I'm presuming a) It'll be too much £, and b) I don't know if I want to trust it!

Thing is mate most are for the Vec B and I dont know if it will fit in the "slot" which you are supposed to jack up on. Only proper ones for Vec C are £30+! Might as well just carry a bottle jack!!

Cerbrious I wish I could just pop off to my local scrappy but im 99% sure that the ones close to me barely have Vec B's, let alone Vec Cs! Hence why I've been calling places further afield but to no avail.

I must be going mad because I cant see one! Saw this:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-VECTR...item2a044d8b94

Slightly different from mine but might fit, but its £12.50 + £15 p&p = £27.50!
Might just get a bottle jack. Would only be £10-£20 and I presume a lot sturdier than the Vx one! They're quite small too.

Oops just saw your link! Yeah with p&p seems expensive for what it is!
