Default Dual Mass Fly Wheel Replacement

    Hi all

    I own a vectra c estate 1.9 cdti 150 2008 model with 20k miles on it.

Its having its second service and I told them when it starts up theres a cracking sound on start up, im told that it needs a dual mass fly wheel, done under warranty but

do I need another clutch in the car or do i just leave it be,

its at a vauxhall dealer, with network q still on it,

any advice would be appreciated as to how if need be i can get a new clutch as well?

also how long should these last, im told leaving the car idle doesnt help, i do sometime waiting for the mrs,

    hear from you all soon

    regards

I wouldn't of thought you would need a new clutch with only 20000 on the clock but you will have a better idea when some of the guys reply your post.

Well im chasing one if the dealer ever decides to ring me back, trying to charge me for discs and pads this morning, bought it in july and its second service today, its not even done 5k miles so you can imagine my frustration, even go told why you laughing down the phone and i said its only done 5k miles and ive owned it 9 months dont think so.

i'll see what other people think but probably chaing a lost cause.
