Its mainly to stop the brake fade as round Milton Keynes you get it loads from all the stopping at roundabouts.

Silver, Black or Red is the next question....

I'm a fan of keeping it subtle so I'm thinking Silver or Black.. Thoughts?

Can't be too much of a fan of keeping it subtle if you've got flakes now

I would go for red (wonder why?)

Nah, the last one had red calipers, plus its an oil burner, same reason for not doing them blue. Its not a VXR.

Rich, I think you have the right idea. Silver will look subtle and clean.

    Next question, hammerite or powdercoat??

Oh and will my standard 17's fit over the 314's when fitted?

I did the wifes calipers in silver hammerite , still look great 8 months on. I might even do mine in silver next time I play with the brakes , mine are currently blue , but as you say the subtle look looks nice.

Powder coat will give a better finish as hammerite will go dull over time.

Yeah I'm feeling the silver. Easy enough to do and makes them look new.

I did see you the other day rich but not in time wave back.
