    Default Debadged the rear...big mistake!

I decided to debadge the rear of the car whilst washing it last night.

The chrome strip went well, however, it would appear that the car has had a cheapy blow over at some point as when I had removed the griffin badge the paint was uneven and looks a show.

Does anyone have a part number to hand for the regular griffin badge for the rear, please?

Thats a shame mate. I dont have th part number, but wouldnt this be an ideal opportunity to upgrade the rear griffin badge to the new Insignia style one??? Check ebay mate.

The problem is, theres an outline of the badge in the paint.

Is the new style badge bigger or a different shape at all? If so, the dodgy paint will show behind it.

Cheers. Its a different shape by the looks of it. I'd best stick to the same design so as to hide the shat paint.

Plenty of them on ebay, I checked before I did mine. No way Autoglym paint renovator and super resin polish would cover?
